Privacy Policy

Account details. When you create an account we store your email address, the username you choose and the country you pick. If you sign up with an email and password, your password is stored only in hashed form.

Sign in with Google. If you continue with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use these only to create and sign you in to your account. We do not get access to your Gmail, contacts, files or anything else in your Google account.

Gameplay. We store your match results, ratings and points, speedrun times, quiz progress, medals, friends list and duel challenges, so we can run leaderboards, matchmaking and your stats.

Messages. Chat messages you post are stored and shown to other players. Questions you send to the AI coach are processed to generate an answer (see "Who we share it with").

Payments. If you buy a premium subscription, payment is handled by Stripe. We receive your email address and the status of your subscription, but never your full card details.

Site usage. We record which pages are visited, the referring website and a random visitor ID saved in your browser, so we can count visits and see which features are used. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Stored in your browser. Your browser keeps your sign-in session, theme choice and some solo-mode progress locally. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings.

• To create your account and keep you signed in.
• To run the games, including matchmaking, leaderboards, stats and friends.
• To show your public profile, username, country and rankings to other players.
• To provide premium features and process subscriptions.
• To keep the site safe, prevent cheating and abuse, and fix problems.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your username, country, rating, points, medals, match history, leaderboard positions and when you were last active are public, and your profile page can be found by anyone. Chat messages you post are visible to other players. Your email address is never shown publicly.

We only share information with services that help us run the site:

• Lovable and Supabase, which host the site and store the database.
• Google, if you choose Sign in with Google, and as the provider of the AI model behind the coach and explanations. Your coach questions, together with your relevant game stats, are sent to it to generate a reply.
• Stripe, which processes payments.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our players and of us.

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information, except where we have to keep some records, such as payment records, for legal or accounting reasons.

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. To delete your account or make any other request, email hello@talktothenation.com from the email address on your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

You need to be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
